Pizza Hut Now Serving Escargots

Remember Pizza Hut and how it began serving pasta in 2008? It actually serves quite a diversified menu in China, where I snapped this photo of escargots for offer last summer in Chengdu. Along with one of the saddest salad bars I’ve had the displeasure of sampling, they served a variety of pastas and hot-dogged pizza crusts. Slice, take note.

  1. I’m guessing Pizza Hut China was inspired by the slew of Japanese pizza chains that serve an amazing array of zany pizza varieties, many of which feature mayonnaise.

  2. So, this is completely off-topic, and I don’t know how I failed to realize this earlier, but I only just learned about the class Ferran AdriĆ  is teaching next year. I have basically fallen into despair at having graduated with such terrible timing!

Please tell me you have a spot in the class and will be blogging about it relentlessly for the rest of us! :)
